The Fugees' Pras is facing 20 years in prison after being convicted last month on a slew of charges that include failing to register as an agent of China, conspiracy, and witness tampering.
The feds accuse him of taking payments from Jho Low, a fugitive businessman, who's allegedly the ring leader of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal where tons of money was stolen.
It's also said that Pras made political contributions to Barack Obama on Low's behalf to help China.
Pras was called an FBI informant as well, a charge that he's denied, most recently while speaking to TMZ. The "Ready or Not" rapper also said that he doesn't want to be the next Tekashi 6ix9ine.
"I can’t really talk about the verdict. I got a lot more work to get done,” said Pras. “Look, I was never in the past, present, or future an FBI or a CIA informant. Never ever. If people want to check it out, look at the testimonies, they could see that all within the records, and all the DC courts ... This is not a Tekashi 6ix9ine situation, respectfully. Because he admitted he was an informant, basically. So I was never. I never said I was. I am not now and never will be an FBI or a CIA informant.”
Some may believe that Pras should be worrying about going to prison instead of what others think about him?
