Prosecution May Change Up Strategy In YNW Melly's Next Double Murder Trial

The jury in the YNW Melly double murder trial could not come up with a verdict, so the judge declared a mistrial.

Melly, who is accused of killing his YNW crewmates Juvy and Sakchaser, will be tried again.

The new trial will likely start very soon.

When it does, the prosecution may pursue a different strategy.

They had planned to try YNW Bortlen --who was in the car with Nelly when he allegedly shot Juvy and Sakchaser-- after trying Melly

Now, they may combine the double murder cases.  This would allow them to introduce different evidence.
