Pusha T has a long history of hitting at Birdman and his Cash Money soldiers (and sons.)
But he has a habit not actually using any of their names in his bars.
Push just came clean on one of the hits while annotating his verse on the 2012 Kanye West track 'New God Flow' on Genius. Here are the bars in question:
Step on they necks 'til they can’t breathe Claim they five stars but sell you dreams They say death multiplies by threes Line them all up and let's just see Fuck em 'Ye, fuck em 'Ye! I wouldn't piss on that nigga with Grand MarnierThis is what Push wrote on Genius yesterday, in reference to the "five stars" line:
Direct Birdman line— I was angry. This song is a direct response to Birdman— he said "Kanye is alright but what are the rest of them doing?” Who is this guy to speak on the dynamics of G.O.O.D. Music? We have got to be real when people talk out of line. You have to really put the reality of it all in perspective. So it looks like Push, who's now GOOD Music's president, is willing to cop to smacking Birdman, boss to boss.
But he's still got a bunch of subliminals that imply Lil Wayne and Drake hanging out there.
