Pusha T Won't Blame Drake For Toronto Attack In Interview

Things went sideways earlier this month in Toronto after OVO Goons threw drinks on Pusha T and ultimately stormed the stage during his set at the Danford Music Hall.

Pusha T was uninjured in the attack, which resulted in the show getting shut down. But three people were hospitalized, including one with a stab wound.

At the time, Push speculated that Drake had paid the hometown heavies to attack him. 

But Push refused to comment on that accusation or speak about Drake at all when the New York Post asked him about the incident. Instead, he discussed what could have been for his own career. 

“I do feel like I get the respect I deserve, totally. But I do look back and think sometimes, and say, ‘If I had done things differently I could be a stronger force in hip-hop," he said instead. “There’s a ton of things I could’ve done differently. I’ve had a couple label hiccups in the past, where we tried to get out of the label who had us on hiatus for four years. Within that time, we started a mixtape series. But if we had just kept feeding our fan base . . . the sound might be a bit more universal and commercial.”

He also addressed his breakup with his brother and Clipse-mate No Malice, which is going on ten years.

 "I wish I could get my brother back in the studio. My brother’s just done with it. He’s my older brother. We been through a few things. He has kids, he has grandkids, he’s just a different guy . . . He golfs."

Is not talking about Drake the right move for Push? And can he keep it up?
