R Kelly is in the midst of a 30-year sentence for racketeering and sex trafficking.

In a call from prison, the 56-year-old laments the poor medical care he's been getting and revealed he almost died because of blood clots in his legs.

"The rest of my life in prison, I'm supposed to die of natural causes.  And I deserve that. I don't deserve to die because somebody miscommunicated or somebody took a guess at what's going on with my leg.  I'm not supposed to die that way.  You're not even supposed to take a chance on that.  If it was your child, if it was your father, if it was your mother, if it was somebody you loved, you would have said we need to go to that, we need to get that checked out, we need to look at that, we need to x-ray that.  That didn't x-ray that.  That's why I'm speaking out on this. I'm scared for my life in that area. And who wouldn't be?  Animals get treated better than that," Kelly said and began to cry.

Are you feeling bad for Kells?
