The rapper CupcakKe sent a suicidal message and was rushed to the hospital right afterward.

"I'm about to commit suicide," she tweeted on Monday night.

Chicago police said they took her in for a "mental evaluation. CupcakKe's friend, Comedian Elijah Daniel, said the details surrounding the situation are still scarce.

"Chicago police got to Elizabeth's place and she has been taken to a hospital," he tweeted. "I don't have any further information beyond that but will update when I do ... Police not able to give me any more details other than Elizabeth is okay and at the hospital."

Fans flooded the rapper's social media pages with encouraging words after seeing her tweet and Iggy Azalea, who's also been open about feeling down at times, sent a message as well.

"Sending love to @CupcakKe_rapper," she wrote. "I understand how hopeless and overwhelmed with negativity we can sometimes feel. I hope you'll take some time with those that really know you best.  Then when you're ready, come back stronger than ever."

Hopefully, CupcakKe will be able to turn things around a make a full recovery.
