Fans noticed unusual activity on the YouTube video for Don Toliver's "Do It Right", with both the view count and comments seeming less than genuine.
Now there are accusations that Atlantic Records has been faking streams for artists like Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert, and Roddy Ricch.

DJ Akademiks has weighed in on the developing situation at Atlantic.
Damn.. Atlantic Records went from being hella lit a few years ago to being shit... they literally threw in the towell on marketing and promotin their artists..they just buying WILD amounts of fake views...which makin their artists look even worse.

All the smart marketing folks & A&Rs left Atlantic & all headed for Capitol by top of 2023. Atlantic artists (Yak, YB) also headed for Capitol.

Atlantic said “f*ck it”after Warner Music Group went public. they tryna save $ to look good for investors but their artists r losing
I heard after WMG announced its IPO several execs were up for some damn near 9 figure digit paydays... which helped incentivize labels like Atlantic Records to be cheap asf.. rely on old catalog rather than keep spending to push/promote new shit. Profit makes stock price increase
