We're now deep into the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The pgLang rapper took over the internet this week after dropping his scathing diss track "Euphoria," and now there's more insight into how we got here.
According to DJ Akademiks, Drake wanted Kendrick to be on "First Person Shooter," his song with J. Cole that started the beef, but Kendrick never responded. Instead, he hopped on Metro Boomin and Future's "Like That" to diss Cole and Drizzy.

"Drake hit up Kendrick," said Ak. "Now, if you think about this entire timeline and beef with that in mind, makes sense... I'm hearing that 'First Person Shooter' was a song intended to be with the 'Big Three.' I'm hearing that verses were reworked because Kendrick Lamar did not respond to the feature request."
In "Euphoria," Kendrick says that he turned down Drake's request, so Ak might be onto something.
"Surprised you wanted that feature request / You know that we got some sh*t to address," spits Kendrick.
