If you think you've read this story before, there's a reason.
For the second time in a month, Rich Homie Quan has officially apologized for a song that seems to advocate rape.
In May, he said he was sorry for the rapey bars in 'Made It Questionable'. That track was part of an unauthorized leak, and RHQ explained that the version that referenced rape wasn't meant for the public.
He didn't have such an excuse for the lyrics in his track 'Day 1,' on which he raps. "Chances ain’t shit if you don’t take one / Mansion full of bitches, about to rape one."
I do not condone or promote rape. I'm not a rapist," RHQ just said about 'Day 1' in an interview with Billboard. "That song was recorded in December 2012. I was young and just rapping. At the time, I had no guidance in my life. I blame it on that. So I apologize once more to my fansCase closed. Until the next Rich Homie Quan song with rape lyrics emerges.
