Rick Ross Explains Why 50 Cent Has Fallen Off

Thanks to Instagram and to his non-musical endeavors, 50 Cent is still at the forefront of the culture.

In terms of music though, Fif isn't particularly relevant.

His long-time rival Rick Ross thinks he knows why.  He broke it down when asked if he would do a Verzuz against 50.

"Would it be really entertaining music-wise, you know what I'm saying? I'm a real dude. 50 Cent had some huge records when he had the biggest producers and artists around him putting them together. That's why, right now, he can't make nothing to save his life. Rozay probably couldn't save him," Ross explained.

Although there has been some thawing of the Ross-50 relationship as of late, they've spent the last decade fighting both in and out of court

In one of their legal squabbles, Ross opined that while he views his "beef" with 50 as part of the job, 50 hates him for real.

Although I have no ill will towards Curtis personally, I believe he truly dislikes me.  Engaging in the beef with him was always supposed to be professional and about business.  Our beef was meant to be fought primarily with words and rap artistry ... It is obvious that Curtis and I have had our beef over the years, but enough is enough"
