Many folks believe the NFL snubbed hometown boy and colossal football fan Lil Wayne when they picked Kendrick Lamar to play the halftime show of this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Roc Nation is involved with the NFL's halftime show selection.
In an interview with The New Orleans Advocate, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez revealed that Lil Wayne was considered.
"I didn’t choose the artist, but I do believe that definitely there was consideration [for Lil Wayne]," she explained.
She added, "Kendrick is the right person for the show at this moment."
