To be a fly on the wall when the Wu Tang Clan gets together.

During an interview with MTV, RZA dropped a little insight into the creative competitiveness among the Clan, and also demonstrated that some of Wu Tang's best bars exist only in the minds and on the phones of its members.

According to RZA, Inspectah Deck -- who RZA called the "the best setoff man probably in the history of hip hop" -- questioned some of RZA's lyrics on Wu Tang's upcoming album A Better Tomorrow.

So RZA pulled out his phone, which is where he keeps his unrecorded verses, and went on for an hour straight with material Deck had never heard. The Inspectah was very impressed.

In relaying the story, RZA decided to demonstrate his ability to freestyle at the drop of a hat. At about the minute mark of the video below, RZA goes off with some lyrics which we may never hear again.

A Better Tomorrow comes out on December 2, and you can get the special edition speaker version on November 28.

What do you think of RZA's impromptu flow?
