More details have surfaced in Sean Kingston's case.
He and his mother, Janice Turner, were arrested last week after police raided his Florida mansion.
According to TMZ, the singer has been charged with 10 counts, all relating to fraud. Authorities say that he and his mother accumulated about $1 million worth of merchandise without paying for any of it.
Kingston was nabbed by California police and saw a judge in San Bernardino County on Tuesday. After waiving his right to fight extradition, he'll soon be sent to Florida to face charges.
What's more, authorities say Kingston and Turner defrauded a bunch of companies, including a car dealer after getting a Cadillac Escalade worth $159,701.49. They're also into a jeweler for $480K.
Kingston has also been charged with grand theft after getting a custom-made bed worth over $86K.
Turner, meanwhile, is facing eight charges of her own for writing bad checks and scamming banks.
Why do you think these companies kept giving Kingston merchandise, considering his history of not paying for things?
