Slim Thug Likens Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre To the Movie 'Get Out'

According to Slim Thug, if you are a young rapper and Jimmy Iovine invites you to watch a movie at his house with his good buddy Dr. Dre, GET OUT.

Thug explains why in a web video that was quickly deleted.

"When I had a deal, the whole sh*t was weird.  It was like being on that show Get Out, it was like being on Get Out.  Cause I'm in the office, and Jimmy Iovine with his hype ass sh*t was like 'hey, do you want to watch a movie at my house.' Cause Dr. Dre is there and Dr. Dre is like the key n*gga to lock other n*ggas in, to make it look cool.  You're like 'Damn, I look up to Dr. Dre.  Let me f*ck with this n*gga cause Dr. Dre gonna be with us and that's real'.  But really that's not what's up.  That ain't cool for Dr. Dre to do that.  He should stay out of that sh*t.  And n*ggas who know that this deal sh*t be going on should let n*ggas know 'Hey man look, that ain't really a great deal.'  You need to try to do this sh*t yourself and build your momentum up and have some type of ownership so in the long run you can eat.  But they got all kind of tricks and trades they do, 'Come over to my house and watch a movie with me.  You want to talk to Snoop, I'll put you on a record with Snoop.  I got all these motherf*ckers signed to me.  I can put you on a song with them.'  Just to trick you into signing with these people, man."
