Smokepurpp Reveals He Went To Rehab Last Year

Miami, Florida rapper Smokepurpp has had his issues with drugs over the years, but it looks like he finally got the help he needed.

Just last year, Purp announced a new line of THC lean that would replace regular lean, in hope that it would save lives. 

It seems this was around the same time that Purp was dealing with his own demons, and we are now finding out that he checked himself into rehab last year. 

He made the announcement on Instagram today.

"Yes its true I did go to rehab last year," he typed. "If I was man enough to rap about drugs when I have people who look up to me, I need to be man enough and speak my truth, I want everybody to know you shouldn't be scared or embarrassed to ask for help if you need it, I hope to inspire younger people to get help if they feel it necessary."

As of now, it seems Purp is in good spirits.

Just last month he let Lil Pump kiss him, so were guessing all is well.
