In the least surprising news of the day, Elon Musk is putting his much-ballyhooed purchase of Twitter on "hold."

With the stock price of both Twitter and Tesla falling, the financing of the deal may no longer be in the interest of the world's richest man.

If Musk does just pay the billion-dollar penalty to walk away from the deal, Snoop Dogg is ready to step in.

Snoop jumped on Twitter and said he's mulling a purchase of the social media app.

"May have 2 buy Twitter now," Snoop typed.

Twitter's stock price is down, but it's not down that much.
