Suge Knight's latest legal gambit is to go after Dr. Dre for stealing hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to the former Death Row boss -- who's locked up and faces murder charges after running over two men -- he had a lifetime management deal with Dre that entitled him to 30 percent of Dre's earnings.
However, he got nothing out of Dre's billion dollar sale of Beats Audio to Apple, because the tech giant didn't want their brand to be associated with Knight.
Now Suge is claiming that the potential legal fallout from that snub led Dre to hire hitmen to rub him out. Allegedly, Dre's goons first attacked Suge in 2014 at 1 OAK in LA, shooting him seven times.
After he survived, Suge claims Dre paid Cle "Bone" Sloan 300K to kill him. Sloan was one of the two men Knight ran over outside of Tam's Burgers in Compton in January of 2015. Sloan survived but Terry Carter didn't.
Suge says it was an accident and he was trying to escape an ambush.
In addition to suing Dre, Knight is coming for Apple, Universal and Tam's for "unspecified damages."
If you do you the math on the Beats-Apple deal, he's looking for at least $300 million.
