Last year, Snoop Dogg bought Death Row Records from the MNRK Music Group.
Suge Knight was asked about that in a recent jailhouse interview. According to Suge, Snoop doesn't really own Death Row because MNRK never did.
"If he do [own Death Row], I doubt that ... Snoop has a partner that is Michael [Harry-O] Harris. If you look at it, they committed fraud, they committed bankruptcy fraud. I didn't lose my company. They went in and the lawyer didn't show up and they got a default adjustment. I settled the adjustment," Suge said of the proceedings in which Suge lost Death Row to MNRK Music Group in 2013. " They turned around and said I didn't settle the adjustment. But they committed bankruptcy fraud which we just found out for sure last week."
We're not sure of the validity of all of that but it's probably a good thing for Snoop that Suge will be locked up for at least ten more years.
