But the 38-year old producer isn't on the Hov's new album 4:44 despite rumors that he would be.

In fact, all the tracks on the album are produced by No I.D. Swizz addressed that in an interview with Acton EntU.

"I was asked to collaborate. But once I heard the project ... I just thought it was a perfect body of work, and I didn't think that I could add nothing to the project," Swizz says.  "I thought the project was an art piece in itself and shouldn't be interpreted ... [JAY-Z's] album is not like the rest of his albums. It's like an exhibit that's curated by a curator. He has a curator [No I.D.] and they curated the show together and I think it's perfect."
Swizz speaks on 4:44 at the 5:50 mark below. He discusses DMX's new album right before, saying "it could" drop this year.
