Tee Grizzley used to be on the streets and has the rap sheet to prove it.
But these days he commits all of his crimes in the virtual world of video games-- and he's getting paid big with no chance of real-life arrest.
Grizzley told the Million Dollars of Game podcast about the GrizzleyWord Roleplay Grand Theft Auto which gives players access to a fully customizable GTA setup. Grizzley says he's making 200K a month on it, and other ex-cons making 20K a month to play.

"It represents the trenches. So you can be in the streets without even being in the streets. So I got a lot of n*ggas that have a PC that ain't in the streets no more making 20, 25,000 playing. The way that I monetized it is that I get paid from the server because you got to pay to get in. We got like 90,000 members they all got to pay to get in," Grizzley said.
According to Grizzley, his guy set the server up for free.
"I stream it on Twitch. I get paid to be on Twitch. I take the Twitch videos that have already been seen, put it on YouTube, get paid to be on YouTube. You get sponsorship you get ads ... and most importantly when these people do pay the 100 to 400 dollars to come in there, they end up making 20k a month. Now they don't got to be in the streets no more."
