T.I. Addresses Whether 50 Cent Replaced Him On 'Power' With Method Man

Method Man portrays lawyer Davis Maclean on 50 Cent's show Power Book II.

According to Power star Gianni Paolo, the role may have originally been T.I.'s but he lost it because of beef with Fif.

 "I heard T.I. was supposed to play Method Man's character. And then, I don't know if there was a beef or something happened but then he never wound up playing him and Method was Davis Maclean," Paolo, who plays  Brayden Weston, said.

Tip pushed back on that during his chat with Tony The Closer.

"Nah, that's not true," T.I. said when Tony brought up that rumor. “50 and I, we were executive producers on a different show outside of the Power universe. But nah, me and 50 cool. I think I'm the only one who is not offended by his brash approach, and he's not offended by mine. So, you know, we play rough but ain't no issue. It's a mutual respect, though."
