Quincy Jones is the talk of the town after a wild interview in which he claimed to have dated Ivanka Trump, revealed JFK's killer, accused Michael Jackson of stealing songs, outed Richard Pryor, Marvin Gaye, and Marlon Brando, and trashed The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and rap music.
In the middle of all of that carnage, he took a shot at T-Pain.
T-Pain worked with the legendary producer on his 2010 album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, which was a re-interpretation of songs associated with him
"I said to them, 'Look, you got to make the music better than we did on the originals,'" Jones shared. "T-Pain, man, he didn’t pay attention to the details."
T-Pain jumped on Twitter this afternoon and responded to Jones:
For the record I told my managers (at the time) and I told @QuincyDJones in his face “I don’t want to remake any of your past records because I know I’m gonna fuck it up. I’ll never be able to reach the greatest of MJ” it took them hours to pump me up to even go in the booth 1/2
