The reaction to Tekashi 6ix9ine's rat turn from the Hip Hop community has been mostly as expected, with folks like Boosie Badazz saying 6ix9ine done goofed and will have to watch his back for the rest of his life.
T-Pain doesn't agree. In an interview with Big Boy, he said he emphatically supported Tekashi 6ix9ine's decision to snitch, and explains why.
"I'd snitch so hard," he said, reflecting if he was in 6ix9ine's shoes. "The man has a family and a daughter and a lot of people say 'he wasn't thinking about that when he was doing ...' Yes he was. He was trying to get that hot tier for more than three days on Twitter. He trying to get that for family. He was trying to make money for his family ... At some point, when does the street code override family. These some n***** you just met two years ago."
In the same interview, T-Pain called Soulja Boy the greatest -- and issued Draco a challenge.
“Soulja Boy is the greatest artist of all time,” he tells Big Boy . “All I want for Soulja Boy is for all what he’s doing...to come with some music to back it up. [He’s got] this huge comeback and everybody is talking about Soulja Boy. All I just want there to be is some music with it."
What do you think of T-Pain's opinions on two of the more polarizing rappers in the game?
