Taxstone was charged with second-degree murder today for the fatal shooting of Troy Ave's bodyguard Ronald McPhatter during a gunfight at a T.I. concert at New York City's Irving Plaza last year.
The Hip Hop podcaster pled not guilty during an afternoon hearing.
Last month, Taxstone pled guilty to two federal gun charges stemming from the shootout, with each charge carrying a sentence of up to ten years.

Taxstone had been beefing with Troy Ave in the months leading up to the shootout.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has also charged Troy Ave with attempted murder for his involvement in the shooting. His case is still pending.
