With his song "Gummo" still burning up the Internet, Teka$hi 6ix9ine could be next young rapper to make it big. The Brooklyn rapper reps the gang lifestyle pretty hard and, in a new interview, he told people if they think he's portraying a false image, then test him.
"I'm not gonna sit here and pretend," he told DJ Self. "Like I said, when you see me in the street you be like, 'Oh, is all this gang shit real or is it just something for fun?' And I tell people, 'Come up to me and test it. Test my gangster.'"
Since pleading guilty to three charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, Teka$hi 6ix9ine has received a good amount of online hate. But he claims that no one has ever dissed him in person over that or over his colorful hair and flamboyant appearance.
"No one has ever come up to me and been like 'Yo that shit look gay.' Not one person in my life," he said. "Like nobody ever came up to me and said like, 'Yo, fuck you. Like I don't like you.' Because I get so much hate, but it never happens in my face."
Why do you think it's important for Teka$hi to prove that he's a real tough guy, instead of focusing on his career and trying to make another hit?
