Tekashi 6ix 9ine is a hell of a guy.
While sitting in federal holding and facing life in prison, he put together a new distribution deal and released his album "Dummy Boy" after it was leaked online.
The album was originally set for distribution through Caroline, Capitol Music Group and Universal Music Group.
According to a source close to Tekashi, he and his label had a disagreement and he wanted the music released ASAP.
TMZ reports Create Music Group released the album, and if that is accurate, would indicate that Label-Engine is the distributor. Label-Engine is part of Create Music Group, and handles a lot of the releases, artists, and promotions.
The two have a past together, as Create Music Group handles Tekashi's publishing, but this is the first time they helped distribute a record for him.
