Tekashi 6ix9ine Concert Being Protested By University Of Central Florida Students

Tekashi 6ix9ine is scheduled to perform at The University of Central Florida, but the students don't want him there. 

"I just can't believe someone like this would be considered on a university campus to perform," said Noemi Teutsch, who started a petition to keep the rapper away.

The petition, which now has 5,000 signatures, is because the Brooklyn rapper had pled guilty in 201 5 to the use of a child in a sexual performance. 

But regardless of his past, UCF officials said Tekashi can still perform on Sept. 22.

"Outside performers can rent the space. However, that does not mean that the university endorses them. At all times, the safety of our campus is our top priority," a statement read. 

This is the second time this month that Tekashi had trouble getting on stage due to his pedo past. According to Nicki Minaj, 6ix9ine  wasn't allowed to join her performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
