Earlier this week, The Sun reported that the Fugees would be getting back together and it turns out that's only partially true.

It's been officially announced that the New Jersey trio will be hitting the road for the 25th anniversary of The Score, their classic album from 1996.

Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, and Pras will be going on a 12-city tour that will start with a pop-up show in New York City on September 22 at a location that's yet to be announced. 

Then between November and December, the group will hit Oakland, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C. and Newark. From there, they'll head to London, Nigeria and Ghana.

The tour will mark the first time the group has been on stage in 15 years, and they haven't dropped an album since The Score.

"The Fugees have a complex but impactful history,” said Lauryn in a statement. “I wasn’t even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone brought it to my attention. I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”
