The Game Clarifies Rumors He Wrote For 50 Cent

The word has long been that 50 Cent helped write some of The Game's biggest hits.

There has also been chatter that Game helped 50 on Fif's track "What Up Gangsta".

Game denied that and more in a new interview.

"I didn't write 'What Up Gangsta' for 50, I was in there and was part of the influence," Game said, adding he may have helped 50 with some of the West Coast lingo in the track.  "50 a great writer.  That's what he do. ...  I don't do no writing for 50, 50 ain't do no writing for me.  He know.  And 50 is not a better writer than me.  Not a better lyricist.  Better with melodies and hooks that's his thing I give him that ... as far as lyricism, he can't f*ck with me on that level."
