The Game Explains Why He Wasn't At Kendrick Lamar's 'Pop Out' Show

Kendrick Lamar's historic Pop Out show on Wednesday celebrated his win against Drake and West Coast Hip Hop in general.

A long list of L.A. artists, including Dr. Dre, YG, Mustard, Tyler, the Creator, and Black Hippy members, took the stage.

The Game, a major player in West Coast rap for about 20 years, was noticeably absent from the concert and was clowned as a result.

Some said he's been ostracized by the L.A. rap scene for siding with Drake during Drizzy's battle with Kendrick.

But The Game shot down that kind of talk on social media while defending himself.

"Stop speculating and doing all that goofy sh*t," he said. "Motherf*ckers in my DM, all these blog sites talking about 'the West Coast ain't f*cking with you and you ain't this and you ain't that.' I be in my own lane, chilling, taking care of my kids."

The Game also denied siding with Drake, saying he's cool with him and Kendrick.

"Now, as far as the Kendrick and Drake sh*t concerned, that’s Kendrick and Drake sh*t," he explained. "When I see what Dot did for the city, I thought that sh*t was amazing. He didn’t have to do that but he did it. As far as my relationship with Drake? Drake is my brother. I f*ck with Drake."
