The Game issued a warning to up and coming rappers: Leave all the gangster stuff alone and focus on your craft.
He posted the message in light of Tekashi 6ix9ine being busted on fed charges earlier this month.
"This is sad," wrote Game. "This kid ain't been 'bout that life, but the pigs will make it look like he was John Gotti on paper and try to make an example out of him. I encourage all new and young artists to just focus on your music, family and your money. Trying to be gangsta for fickle fans ain't the way."
The Game's warning comes after Tekashi clowned Game about his age a while ago, and the Compton rapper had a crowd chant "fake ass blood" about 69 during a show. (6ix9ine's lawyer now denies 6ix9ine was ever a Blood, so it looks like Game was on to something then.)
Fat Joe gave Tekashi similar advice several months before he was arrested. In fact, the video of Joe telling 6ix9ine to avoid the pitfalls of the street recently went viral.
Do you think the younger ones will pay attention to Game or ignore his warning like Tekashi did Fat Joe?
