The Game has suffered another big legal loss.
A judge has ruled that he owes an Australian promoter $478,119.73 in damages plus $78,508.08 in interest and court costs for seven concert tour he was supposed to do Down Under in 2017 but never did.
According to communications between The Game's team and the promotor -- which were all done via text or WhatsUp as opposed to traditional contracts -- Game agreed to $32,1000 per show.
But then, after the shows were sold out, he tried to negotiate it up to $51,340 plus $19,250 in fees for afterparty appearances after the shows. He also tried to get the promoters to pay $3.21 million to film a documentary of the tour.
The judge ruled Game and his team had acted in bad faith in their negotiations.
The Game has a bad history with Australia. He got thrown out of the country in 2016 because he confused it with New Zealand and got the wrong visa.
