'The Life Of Pablo' Just Did Something No Album Has Done Before

The Life Of Pablo was the first LP to go number one via streaming only back in April of 2016.

The project was originally a TIDAL exclusive. But when 'Ye expanded it out, he only put it on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music; it was never available for download (save for a moment on his website) and never had a physical copy.

The RIAA certified TLOP platinum this week, making it the first album ever to hit a million sales via streaming only.

Since 1500 streams is the equivalent to one one album sale, that means TLOP has been streamed at least 1.5 billion times.
