There's Backlash To Nicki Minaj's "Hate" Rant to Coi Leray; Leray Responds

To promote their new track "Blick Blick!", Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray did an Instagram Live.

During the chat, Coi brought up all the hate she gets.  Nicki told her to slow her hate roll.

"Y’all have just experienced some of the growing pains of artistry and of social media. Y'all be thinking y'all have experienced hate and trust me, ya ain't experienced it yet. A lot of y'all have gotten, not coddled, people have been nice. People have been gentle with y'all," Nicki said.

Given that Coi does get a fair amount of hate (some deserved), there was a backlash to Nicki's comments, with some saying Nicki discounted Coi's lived experiences.

Now both Coi and Nicki have responded to that backlash.

"Y'all too emotional ... Nicki been through a lot!! she still standing strong, still dropping hits.  She basically told me don't let y'all wack ass comments and negative energy stop me now because MORE MONEY AND SUCCESS More problems so THUG THAT SHIT OUT!," Coi typed.
