Tory Lanez Breaks Downs Why He and 2Pac are Similar

Tory Lanez is the latest rapper to compare himself to Tupac Shakur. It's something that rappers have been doing pretty much since Pac took his last breath.

Megan Thee Stallion recently said she's like the late rapper, because they both give "big talk energy." 

There's also times that other people name rappers the new 2pac. Like when Trippie Redd said that about NBA Youngboy.

Tory gave his explanation as to why he's like the "Hit 'Em Up" creator while speaking to Genius. [Jump to 28:00 mark]

"I feel like honestly, and n***as is going to be like, 'Yo, you're bugging,'" said Tory. "Remember when Pac was like, 'I may not change the world, but I can spark the idea in the brain of the person who will?' I feel like, deadass, like that spark was me, my n***a. I feel like there's a lot of similarities between me and Pac."
