It turns out that the photo of Travis Scott canoodling with an unknown woman was fake.
The image popped up online earlier this week, and right away La Flame denied that he cheated on Kylie Jenner, the mother of his child.
The photo was actually staged by YouTuber Christian Adam, who made a video to explain why he did it.
"The goal was not to hurt anyone's relationship, but it is to see how gullible is the Internet," Christian Adams said. "I feel so bad sometimes. Damn, am I really messing up this nigga's relationship? Now you all see how the world will believe something just because they want to believe it ... They don't really care about the truth or doing the research or anything like that. Travis Scott, if you're watching this forgive me, bro."
Travis, who's cut "Sicko Mode" just went No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, has already responded when he was alerted about the prank on Instagram.
"Shaking my fucking head," he wrote.
Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian also weighed in, and she was none too happy with Adam or the people who found the prank funny.
"I hate that I am bringing attention to this," wrote Kim. "But this is absolutely disgusting that you would find this funny to mess with Travis and Kylie who just started a family together. This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong."
