It was announced last week that Fat Joe and Ja Rule will face each other in the next Verzuz competition, which is set for Tuesday, September 14.

Music fans could have seen another Verzuz battle between Trick Daddy and Boosie Badazz.  However, Trick said he turned it down. [Jump to the 2:10 mark]

“They wanted me to do a Verzuz with Boosie and I was like, ‘Nah.’ Like Boosie, that’s my dog,” said the Florida rapper during a visit to N.O.R.E and DJ EFN's Drink Champs podcast. "And everybody was like, ‘It’s good for Hip Hop.’ But if I do you in Verzuz, I’m gonna smash your ass. I’m not ‘gon come out there playing because you not ‘gon play with me. And plus, Billboard and all the other magazines, they gonna chart the sh*t. They gonna rate a winner and a loser.”
