Trippie Redd was among those stung by the death of PNB Rock, who was shot and killed for his bling as he dined at Roscoe's in South Central Los Angeles.
In mourning the passing of his friend, he suggested that labels should pay for security so their artists don't get snuffed out next.
“I had to reschedule my whole day yesterday I was at a true loss for words,” Trippie said. “I keep losing my friends to gun violence I want all my friends to start having a guard or 2 it honestly should be on the label to get u protection… that’s one thing I used to tell xxx is let’s stop riding around in the i8 just me and u while ur paid security sleep at the house we in the club just us ... Pnb was my real life brother he pulled up on me and @fijimacintosh when we weren’t even nobody yet and told us in his prime that we would blow up he pulled up to the hood in a sprinter wit all his guys to Fiji mom house just to meet us then put us on the line up for his show in Atlanta."
Police believe Rock was killed in part because his GF posted his location on social media. While Trippie is focused on getting more security, he may want to have a conversation with his girlfriend and his girl's friends because they just did the exact same thing.
Last night, One of Trippie's fans called a friend of Trippie's GF for posting her location when she was hanging out with Trippie.
Stay safe.
