Troy Ave just dodged a bullet, so to speak.
He won't be charged with murder in the Irving Plaza backstage shooting incident that left his bodyguard Ronald McPhatter dead. That's likely because the bullets in the gun Troy is seen firing on videotape didn't match those which killed McPhatter.
However, Troy certainly isn't out of the woods. TMZ has learned that a grand jury has indicted 30-year old on one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Three people were wounded in the shooting, including Troy -- who is believed to have shot himself in the leg.
The Brooklyn spitter has so far been denied bail. His lawyer Scott Leemon hopes to have him released on bond after a hearing next week.
