Former New York Knick Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder today for Doug McDermott, Enes Kanter and a second-round pick.
It was an underwhelming haul for a 33-year old ten-time all star. But the Knicks didn't have a lot of leverage, given Melo's no-trade clause. And the forward's value had plummeted over the last couple seasons as his play declined.
Melo now joins Russell Westbrook and Paul George in OKC for what some are calling the NBA latest "super team." Here's what Twitter is saying.
