During Tyrese's notorious appearance on The Breakfast Club last month, he accused director Bryan Barber of refusing to give him the footage of an interview he paid Barber 35K to shoot.

The interview, which was done in 2019, involved Tyrese, Charlamagne, and Tyrese's ex-wife, Samantha Lee.

Now Barber is suing Tyrese for $10 million, alleging defamation and libel.

Barber says the interview wasn't released because Tyrese's management had instructed him to shelve it to protect Tyrese's reputation.

He also says Tyrese reneged on the deal that they had made.

"Gibson refused to adhere to the previous 50/50 revenue split that he and Barber previously negotiated for the CTG Interview," reads the suit.
