August Alsina's career it going to get a bit boast this November when he joins Usher on"The UR Experience Tour."
During an interview with the Breakfast Club, Usher revealed why he is bringing the 22-year old up-and-comer with him on the road.
"It’s offering that window and offering that opportunity," Usher told the Power 105.1 morning crew. "I’m still keeping with that. It’s what Janet Jackson did for me. It’s what Mary J. Blige did for me. It’s what Puff, P. Diddy & The Family did for me. So I’m doing the same thing."
Alsina has had some pretty serious health problems lately, but there's nothing like a bunch of "screaming Usher fans," as a famous rapper from Detroit once put it, to cheer you up.
Besides discussing how he's paying it forward with Alsina, Usher also said that the tour will cover his entire 20 year career, not just his upcomming album. Dates for the "The UR Experience Tour" are below.
