The 1996 Chicago Bulls went 72-10 in the regular season. Then they only lost three playoff games on their way to the first of three straight titles.

But if the Michael Jordan/Scottie Pippen/Dennis Rodman led squad went up against the 2017 Warriors, they would be the underdogs.

ESPN reached out to six Vegas odds makers and asked them to handicap a '96 Bulls '17 Warriors match up.

"Five of the six had the Warriors favored, from as high as -8 at the MGM (per Jay Rood, vice president of race and sports at MGM Resorts) to as low as -2 at William Hill US (per Nick Bogdanovich, director of trading, William Hill US)." "Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook manager Jeff Sherman set the line at Golden State -6.5 and a series price of Chicago +300 and Golden State -360." "It's a different era now, and today's game is played at a pace unlike in the 1990s," Sherman told ESPN. "Players are bigger, faster and stronger than back then."
As one of the oddsmakers pointed out, the line would probably change if the series was played under 1996 rules, which allowed the kind of hand checking the Bulls excelled at.

Anyway, Golden State still has to finish the job against the Cavs to be considered an all-time great team.

They happen to have a history of not doing that.

Who do you think would win between the '96 Bulls and the current Warriors?
