Waka Flocka's mom and manager Debra Antney used to also be Gucci Mane's manager.
Mother and son both had high profile falling outs with Gucci, and now Antney is claiming Gucci made up stuff about her in his new memoir, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane.
During an interview with Pootah TV, Antney challenged Mane's account of the evaluation of the track 'Make the Trap Say Aye.' According to Gucci, he recorded it before he went to prison. But then Antney gave it to O.J. da Juiceman and that's why Gucci ultimately parted ways with her.
"I will tell you that that's not true, okay. 'Make The Trap Say Aye' had nothing to do with it, it was OJ’s record. That had nothing to do with it,' Anteny told Pootah TV. "The next thing I’m gonna tell you is that Gucci didn’t write that book in its entirety because half of the book is false. So if anybody know the history of where we all were, pay attention. He already tells you who he is in the book. That's it."
Earlier this year, Waka spoke on his mom's relationship with Gucci:
“I’ll just say this little bit about Gucci,” he told TMZ. “My fans deserve for me to elaborate on why I went so hard at a person who [supposedly] started my career. And to make the record straight, my mother started my career. My mother started Gucci’s career, my mother started Nicki [Minaj’s] career, [OJ da] Juiceman’s career, French Montana’s career, Lex Luger as a producer … So to give one man credit for something he don’t even know how to do [is wrong].”[Related: Waka Flocka says Gucci Mane is dissing his mom.]
