There has been a lot of debate around Chief Keef's influence lately...

A week ago, Charlamagne said he could never put Keef in a top influential rappers list because he influenced a sound and a specific area, not the world.

Armed with this info, and more statements from DJ Akademiks, TMZ tracked down the Chicago rapper while he was in NYC and asked him about the comments.

Keef made it clear that Charlamagne's opinions mean nothing, and even went as far as mocking DJ Akademiks and how he talks about Chicago.
