Will Smith spoke with Shade 45’s Sway Calloway and Heather B about facing LL Cool J in a Verzuz competition, so there's really a chance they could battle. 

"Me and L were talking about doing one but I never had a chance to. I was writing my book,” stated Will. “L gon’ body me.”  

Heather B then pointed out that both rappers come from a time when the DJ got top billing in a group.

"It was like Eric B. & Rakim, Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince," she explained. "Everybody had their DJ, so don’t let Jeff on the turntables.”

“That’s my secret weapon right there," responded Will.
