Last week, Yella Beezy was charged with capital murder in the 2020 death of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3.
He's accused of paying Kewon White to kill his rival rapper. White ended up gunning Mo3 down in the middle of a Texas highway and was arrested shortly after the incident.
Beezy's bond was initially set at $2 million.
It's been reduced to 750K after his grandmother, Alma Jean Alexander, testified that her grandson didn't have enough money to pay it.
"He might used to be," she responded when asked if her grandson was rich. "But if he could make a $2 million bond, he'd be out."
He's still locked up, so a 750K bond may also be too much.
Footage of Mo3 being shot at and chased by an alleged killer in the middle of I-35 in Dallas in 2020 has been released 😳
