YG said $400,000 of his jewelry was stolen, so on Monday he filed a police report in Los Angeles for grand theft.
The Stay Dangerous rapper told police the jewelry was taken from his hotel room at the London about a week ago. YG said sometime between New Year's Eve and 11:00 a.m. the following morning, he noticed a suitcase that held the jewelry and was kept on top of a safe was lighter than it was supposed to be.
The Compton spitter — who recently apologized to the LGBTQ community for his "old views" — said he noticed the missing pieces on New Year's Day but just got around to filing the report on Jan. 6.
The police haven't named any suspects yet but plan to look at surveillance video. YG admitted that he had people coming in and out of his hotel room, so it's possible that one of his guests swiped the jewelry.
Do you think it's smart to walk around with a suitcase of jewelry, even if you're with your friends?
