Forbes recently revealed that Yo Gotti is now worth $100 million

Presumably, a lot of that money comes from his Collective Music Group label, which boasts like GloRilla and Moneybagg Yo.

It's possible the label wouldn't have been so successful if Gotti hadn't changed its original name of Cocaine Music Group.

He told Forbes that 50 Cent told him to change the name.

"I think it was around the time I was doing the deal with Epic Records, and we were talking about CMG," Gotti explained. "If anybody knows 50, if he talks to you, he just volunteers information, I think if he likes you. He used to tell me a lot of information."

He continued. "Basically, he was just telling me, 'You should change the name from Cocaine Music,' because you may scare the corporate people. And I had never thought of that … That was a good piece of advice 50 gave me, a valuable piece of advice."

Why do you think Gotti didn't realize the old label name would be a problem until talking to 50?
