Young Buck has had a big few days. He finally got out of prison, where he'd been rotting since December on a felony fugitive from justice warrant.
He also announced that he had recently declared bankruptcy for the second time. As Buck explained to his Tennessee bro DJ Paul, he did so in part to escape his contract with G-Unit and 50 Cent. [Jump to one minute.]
"Homie claimed that I had owed him and sh*t, all of that bullsh*t," Buck said about his dealings with 50. "I know I don't owe n*gga but even me at a point of time, Paul, I got to the place where I was like, you know what, I just want to get the work, f*ck it, I'll pay him."
So I even got to a point where I even tried to pay the n*gga something that I know I didn't owe because that's how desperate I was ... I'm like I'll give you half of the 300K and the other half in 30 days. He come back and add another 50K on and say he want me to sign over my whole catalog," Buck said, adding he owns all of his masters unlike all the other G-Unit soldiers.
"I done filed bankruptcy before in my career, I'll do it again. I didn't file no bankruptcy, technically, to get out the contract. I filed the bankruptcy to be like 'Look, if I owe you n*gga, show me what I owe you. Just show me the receipts. Show me what you claim," Buck said.
According to Buck, 50 never did provide receipts because they don't exist, and he's just playing games with him because 50 is mean.
